Announcing My New Facebook Group: Disappearing Type 2 Diabetes Safely (for men)
It is Possible to Reverse Type 2 Diabetes!
I wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that I am starting a group specifically for helping men ages 40-55 to reverse their type 2 diabetes called the Disappearing Type 2 Diabetes Safely Group. There are many men who found themselves being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, confused about the information that is online, and perhaps unhappy with the sad news that their doctor has given them relating to this condition.
In life it is best to be with others who are facing similar circumstances, yet are willing to look further into the situation to find the truth! That is why I formed this group.
Over the years that I have been in healthcare, I can’t tell you the number of different pieces of medical advice that have been given regarding in particular type 2 diabetes.
We have heard that it is a chronic progressive disease based on the amount of carbohydrates we eat.
We have heard that if we stick to the glycemic index of food that will help.
We have heard that it is incurable.
And so much more…
However, the truth of the matter is that this information is not only out of date, but it is also wrong.
I want anyone who is in this situation to realize that you needn’t be like my best friend from college, Richard, who at the age of 57 died on the operating table while he was on vacation with his girlfriend as the surgeon tried to put a stent in his heart.
No, I would much prefer you to be like one of my clients who was about 80 pounds heavier than Richard at 300 plus pounds, yet was able to get his blood sugar and other numbers down enough that his doctor voluntarily took him off his medication because he no longer needed it.
In the group, I am going to be sharing the newest information (and some of the oldest and correct information that has been withheld from people because it doesn’t include mediation.
I am going to help you to understand what you can do to take control of your body, mind, and spirit so you too can regain your health and vitality.
If you are a man who is in this age group, or if you know a man who is in this age group, please send them the link to the group so that they can join. It could be the best thing you have been able to do to help another person. We want our men to be healthy and full of vitality, don’t we?
The URL for the free group is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/disappearingtype2diabetessafelyfreegroup/
Many thanks,

Is it helpful to get therapy when one isn’t experiencing life’s problems?
Is it helpful to get therapy when one isn’t experiencing life’s problems? Vol. 552, June 11, 2020
This was a rather interesting question that someone asked me on Quora because many times people have no idea how many types of services are out there to help with different types of human issues. Here is how I answered the question:
Therapy is a word that is used to refer to people who are going through life difficulties – usually to do with either emotional or physical issues (like in physical therapy). However, there are times when people can use a bit of support or suggestions in business decisions, relationships, and just those things that have to do with life.
I have gotten myself a lot of assistance of late which I don’t really throw into the ‘therapy’ box, for business development and mindset work. Back in the day when I needed therapy, trust me, I went all in to deal with the myriad of issues that were causing issues in my life taking me out of my life’s mission.
So, I think we need to be a little more careful about how we use the various terms. It is also very useful to go to the appropriate professional for the issue that needs to be resolved because there is a reason why there are so many people practicing so many areas of life improvement.
The smart people know that they don’t have all the answers and ask “How do I know who can help me do _____? Then they make the appropriate phone call or join the appropriate group or course to get the assistance/support required to move on.

I think I may have anxiety, but I don’t want to self diaganose. How can I tell?
I think I may have anxiety, but I don’t want to self diagnose. How can I tell? Vol. 551, June 4, 2020
One of the Quoran’s asked this rather interesting question and this is how I answered it:
Anxiety is nothing more than worrying about something that has yet to occur. The real issue is if the anxious feelings are getting in the way of your having a good quality of life.
If not, no issue. No need to make it into something larger than it is. However, if it is negatively impacting your life getting to the cause of it can be helpful in releasing it.
I read a fascinating story about a young man who had anxiety whenever it was time to go to sleep. It went back to when he was really young and a bunk bed fell on him. Gee, that could make the unconscious mind ‘defend’ one against potential harm. I have had clients create anxiety from all sorts of situations in life, Many with no recollection of the cause. I had a client who had a fear of driving over bridges – when I hypnotized her she recalled being in a very bad accident with her mom on a bridge so her unconscious mind was doing what it could to protect her even though the protection was totally out of date. Others develop anxiety because of trauma. I had a really cute college-age client with horrible anxiety due to her older brother’s drug addiction creating endless fights in her family home and on it goes.
There are many people who have these issues and yet have no idea from where they came.
On the other hand, there are some people who have been traumatized and know exactly what caused it and in those cases it can be desensitized as was done for the client whose anxiety was brought on with the fighting in her family due to her brother’s drug addiction.
