Live Illogically , Create Magick!

Live Illogically, Create Magick – Volume 453, May 17, 2018

What does the word “illogically” mean, as in “live illogically?” The Kabbalist speak of living illogically, beyond what one experiences living in what they call the 1% world, the physical world that our five senses can detect. Living in this way is cheating ourselves of the much larger more interesting opportunities of the 99% world, consisting of all those things our five senses are UNABLE to detect. This is where Magick is created.

Living illogically means determining the out of the box thinking to innovate and realize your most outlandish dreams. Dreams such as those that have been created over the ages by those who innovate, create and invent those things that are not in existence yet. It is only with this illogical thinking that the technologies that have been developed, the understandings we have come to understand how our world operates.

Richard Branson, founder, and owner of Virgin brands is a man who is dyslexic without a college degree. Yet, he owns a few hundred companies and a few hundred non-profits. He is a man who just wanted to create a magazine in the beginning. As his curiosity and resolve to develop different companies to take care of problems he no longer wanted to confront, like airline companies that didn’t have enough flights to handle his needs, he created his own airline. British Airways, did everything they could to put his little airline out of business, but Richard did what was necessary to stay in business. Many are very glad he held that resolve.

Ted Turner had some very interesting ideas, coming from selling billboard advertising for his dad, and finding properties on which to place more billboards. He next went on to owning radio stations. Seeing that the technology of television was the place to go, and later satellites allowing for cable television, he wanted to create products that did not exist, such as the 24-hour news station, CNN. He was upset with the garbage, the negativity that was shown on network television so he created TNT to show the old movies and cartoons. Many thought he was crazy when he spoke of these ideas, yet he was an original thinker and had the ability to make these ideas reality.

So, how does one live illogically? You do so by figuring out what is important for you to do with your life. You focus on it every day, taking little actions toward reaching your goals. Do favors for others who can help you with their contributions, as people are willing to help those who help them.

Never, ever allow yourself to live a compromised life, settling on what you feel will make someone else happy for your doing what they suggest. Money isn’t the be all and end all, as you regularly hear of the richest people of all getting into trouble with the law, experiencing drug overdoses and committing suicide. Money can make life easier, but the most important aspect of one’s life is living a fulfilling and loving life.

You have but one life to live, and to tell you the truth, you haven’t any idea how much time you have on this planet. I just lost a friend, very unhappy in his life, very unhealthy, dying on the operating table as a heart stent was being placed. This was while he was on vacation with his girlfriend. He was all of 57 years old. Why was he miserable? There are many reasons that go back to his youngest days. There was some very fun and interesting years he got to enjoy during college and shortly thereafter while raising his beloved kids. But, in his own mind, he was emotionally abandoned by all those who he felt should have loved and been there for him.

His real problem was the fact that he never allowed his friends to give him anything, making it very difficult as I can attest to, as he paid the restaurant bill, which was my Christmas gift to him for the gifts that he brought me. I ended up writing him a check that lived on his fridge for months before he ever cashed it.

You see, it is very unfair to speak of how others treat you poorly when you are unwilling to accept the kindness of others, then get angry and resentful for that behavior.

Hang out with people who are doing wonderfully interesting things with their lives, happy and contented. You will find these people in places that attract this sort of people. Toastmasters, where people learn how to do public speaking, is a particularly great place to meet educated people who are growing and happy. Go to Meetups where there are people involved in activities that you enjoy – they are all over the place and cover every subject one could imagine.

Most of all, listen to your Inner self, that little voice inside your head that allows you to know when you are doing something that fortifies you or destroys you. Make the changes that you need to make, based on these voices. If your body is unhealthy, it is because you aren’t living the life that you were meant to live. This takes a very deep and thoughtful look at what matters to you and work in that direction. Live according to your values.

There is no reason to be among the 70% of people who hate their jobs and the 80% of people who have no interest in what they do every day to earn their living. In this day and age, one is better off learning a skill and becoming one’s own boss.

Brian Tracy, a world renown sale’s manager, and a motivational speaker speaks of each individual needing to be the CEO of their own lives. This is the only way that you will be able to have control of your life.

So, listen to that inner wisdom of your body and mind. Think illogically. See yourself in that role every day, taking action every day toward reaching that goal, and before you know it, you will be living it. It’s a wonderful way to live- taking control back of your life, determining how you are going to spend the limited time you have on this planet. All the while experiencing the love and support of all those who believe in your goals (while letting go of those who don’t get you or your dreams.)
