Fascinating Opportunities in the Strangest Places!
Today is Saturday, a perfect day for a seaside walk. The first person who said, “Hi” to me is an employee at the FAFA resort who wanted to know where I have been at since I haven’t been texting her, and she hasn’t seen me on my walks. I told her that I have been walking regularly, just not when she has been outdoors. Regarding the messaging, no excuses. I just need to be more mindful and text her periodically. She is a different person from the other women whose photos I have shared with you previously.
Next, I am walking down the seaside and a young man says, “Hello” to me. I did not recognize him, but he spoke English, so I stopped by to have a chat with him. He is a parole officer here in Albania for petty thefts and less dangerous crimes.
He asked me what I do for a profession, so I told him that I help people heal their emotional problems with hypnosis with my clients in the U.S. over the internet.
He told me he was fascinated with hypnosis and wanted to learn more. I offered to help him with a simple problem so he could have an experience of it.
We walked over to where some lounge chairs were lined up on the beach and did the session with the waves crashing on the beach under the sunshine.
It took about half an hour to help him with his two issues he wanted resolved, even with a couple of women coming to sit in the lounge chairs in front of us. They were pretty quiet, but I just gave my impromptu client the suggestion that any talking of others, along with each crash of the waves, will only send him deeper into a trance.
He was amazed at how short a time it took, how deeply entranced he was, even out there in public, and how powerful he felt after we were done.
We exchanged WhatsApp numbers, because he also owns apartments and has some people coming over from the U.S., whom he will introduce to me. I have never met another American here in the 2.5 years I have lived here thus far, so that was a great thing. He figured that if they had any issues, I could easily help them resolve them. Of course, that will only come about if they are interested in learning more, if they ask me what I do for a living.
I cannot tell you how many times I have used beach inductions for my clients, where they had to go there in their imaginations, and here we were right on the seaside with the waves and the salt air present.
There were a few others that I saw today whom I have known for the past couple of years on my walk today, which was really to get some exercise and find some mascara, not an easy item to find in the beachside stores. I did find one place that had it, but the cost was ridiculously high, so I did not get my mascara today, but I did get my favorite cookies and lettuce for my salads, and some sponges, badly needed.
I will leave a photo of the beachside where we did the hypnosis. It was a very magical experience for both of us, because of the impromptu way it happened, and it was by the seaside.
