A few young athletes have sought help from me to relieve anxiety issues around their competitions. They have been very interested in using hypnosis to “get back on track,” which makes it very easy to accomplish the goal of relieving them of their anxiety. I want to share these cases to demonstrate how well this sort of intervention can work for these passionate athletes. Continue »

I had a problem with a sexual compulsive disorder where I would frequently do telephone sex, (then) internet porn which developed into frequently meeting with an escort service. All throughout this process for the last 20 years I could not understand why and always felt guilty afterwards. I finally made the step of seeing Suzanne after I realized that my life was going nowhere because of it. Continue »

I recently did some hypnotic work on a gentleman who works with war veterans in Israel. It so happened that he was interested in having me work with the Israeli soldiers utilizing the same hypnotic techniques that helped him to let go of his own childhood traumas. Continue »

I came to Suzanne as my last resort. For years I had tried to find the source of the uneasiness and anxiety that had plagued me for most of my life. I felt as though I had no purpose in life and just woke up each day and went through the motions putting one foot in front of the other to get me through the day because that’s all I knew how to do. While my life appeared very successful on the outside, I had always felt broken and like a fake on the inside. Continue »

When I came to see Suzanne I was dark and suicidally depressed and day by day I started feeling lighter.
By the time my last session ended with setting goals I was present and felt younger and more youthful as I was starting life over again.

A gentleman recently called me for smoking cessation, however that was not the only reason he was calling. He knew that he had some larger issues that were keeping him from living a happy and fulfilled life. He was underemployed, doing work that he found boring, yet he had no idea what else he could do with himself. He was gay and realized it while he was a young teen. For most of his young life he did what he needed to in order to keep the secret from his family. Continue »

I just had a client who decided it was time to give up smoking again and wants it to work for the long term. She was waking up every morning coughing for longer periods of time, and it was obvious that her body was trying to tell her that she was poisoning herself and that she needed to quit. She was also sick of using her energy to figure out how she was going to fit in smoking while her grandchildren visit or being with all her friends who are now non-smokers. Continue »

A gentleman called recently, asking if I help people with obsessive-compulsive behaviors. I asked him to explain what he was talking about so I could get a better idea of what was going on here. He explained that he was very upset with his never-ending thoughts of needing sexual stimulation and his resulting behaviors. Continue »

People today are under a lot of stress. It seems as if there is never enough time to take care of oneself, never mind getting done all the things that need to get done in any given day. Even positive situations like having a baby or starting a new job can create stress in your life.
You may feel the stress as a slightly sick feeling in your gut, or perhaps tightness in your neck or shoulders. Perhaps you have a backache that will not go away yet there is no physiological cause. What are those signals in your body telling you about your health? Continue »

Over the past few months it seemed like I did not own my life: I was running around taking care of my mother’s needs, taking care of the chores around the house or putting in time with my clients. The one thing that I did find time for was at least a half-hour every few days to relax in the warm bubbling water of my health club’s whirlpool. But I still felt totally absent from getting my real needs taken care of. Holidays were no longer based on how I wanted to enjoy them. It was as if I had little control over what I was doing on a day-to-day basis and it felt horrible. One day it dawned on me that I did not have any time to be with my own friends. These are the relationships that replenish my soul for their inspirational ideas and sharing of common interests. Continue »

I receive many calls from potential clients who do not know why they are having a difficult time getting things done. Sometimes it is just from boredom, sometimes it is from laziness; sometimes it is the feeling of being overwhelmed. As I continue to talk to these folks it becomes evident that procrastination is not the only main issue; it usually ends up being that they are actually depressed. Continue »
