Vol. 35 December 2005 – Are You Experiencing Sexual Problems?

A couple of years ago I received a call from a young man who was experiencing impotence. He had already seen his doctor for a screening for any possible physiological issues that might have caused this particular problem. The doctor told him that there was nothing wrong with him physically and to find a hypnotist to help him to deal with anything else that may be in the way. Continue »

Vol. 34 November 2005 – Are You Repeating Your Parents’ Bad Habits?

I wonder how many of you find yourself repeating the same old patterns that your parents had, patterns that you would rather not be emulating. Perhaps you have not even realized that this may be true for you.

A recent client- a man in his 50’s- was referred to me because he was non-communicative with his partner, and this upset her. She really wanted to be there for him while he was going through a tough time, and she felt that she was not receiving anything in return for her efforts to be supportive of him. Continue »

Vol. 33 October 2005 – Do You Have a Problem with Grinding Your Teeth?

This past April I was asked to travel to Seattle to work with a gentleman who had a huge problem with grinding his teeth. He had spent approximately $40,000 to fix his teeth eight years ago. The only problem was that he had ground them so much that one could not tell any work had been done. In fact his dentist told him that he had to have all the work redone. He told me that he grinded his teeth all through the day. He was aware of it but yet could never stop it. Continue »

Vol. 32 September 2005 – Does Stuttering Get in the Way of Your Communication?

Normally when a child starts to stutter he will be sent to a speech therapist to learn how to talk more fluently. Unfortunately even with speech therapy there are times when the person will get into halting speech patterns over certain words or phrases. There is another more effective way to rid a child or adult of this frustrating problem. Continue »

Vol. 31 August 2005 – Pain Release Utilizing Hypnosis Works Well!

Pain is expressed in various ways: aching, throbbing, stabbing, burning, radiating and stinging. Pain is experienced differently because it is subjective and influenced by age, gender, and psychosocial factors.

There are two basic types of physical pain: chronic and acute. Acute pain is a result of injury, disease or inflammation. It is usually of short duration, easily diagnosed and treated in most cases. Continue »

Vol. 30 July 2005 – Dentophobia- Do you have a fear of dental work?

Dentophobia is a morbid fear or aversion to going to the dentist. It is customary for most individuals to get a dental check-up and cleaning every six months to keep their pearly whites in good health. When patients evade dealing with their oral health for longer periods of time, gum disease and rotting teeth can become the result, which could be much worse. Continue »

Vol. 29, June 2005 – Cause Verses Effect

Whenever a potential client calls me, I need to find out if the person is in a place where he/she is willing to make the required changes to create the desired results. It is really very important for me to do this because the work that is done here in my office is done in a very quick manner. Usually the person comes in for two longer sessions two days in a row. If anything percolates up from the unconscious mind after that time period he/she is to call for guidance, and may even need to come in for what my clients call a “tune up.” Continue »

Vol. 28, May 2005 – Neuro-Linguistics and the Art of Selling

Up until now my newsletters have mainly addressed all sorts of medical issues. However there are some very important ideas that one can learn from understanding neuro-linguistics. First of all what does this term neuro-linguistic mean? Think of it as the language of the mind. When someone uses what is known as NLP or neuro-linguistic programming, they are really talking about how one can program the mind through language. Think about what learning this skill could mean to you if you own your business and need to sell a product or service? Would you find it helpful to know how to communicate with your prospects in a way that makes them feel comfortable working with you? How about understanding how prospects go about decision-making? Your sales could go through the roof! Continue »

Testimonial – Sandra Bright, Murrieta, CA

To: Suzanne Kellner-Zinck, My Colleague and Mentor

As Suzanne worked with me on a breakthrough and Time Line Therapy (R) while we were at the American Board of Hypnotherapy Conference in Newport Beach, California, I felt what I had always wanted to feel, that a practitioner knew and understood my history and cared deeply that I recover from it. Testimonial – Alexandra D., Age 18

Before I came to Suzanne, my confidence in myself was dwindling. I’ve played ice hockey for the past ten years, and all my experience in playing was worthless because I didn’t know how to believe in my abilities. Continue »

Vol. 27, April 2005 – What Does It Mean When a Child Complains of a Tummy Ache?

While I was reading a little tiny piece in Time Magazine under the headline “Do Parents Push For The Right Treatment?” (April 4, 2005), this immediately caught my attention: “children whose parents went from specialist to specialist, but balked at considering that emotional issues might be the culprit, have a 3-in-10 recovery rate. Of families that accepted a referral to child-psychological services, 11 of 13 saw improvements.” The basic deal here is that emotional issues are at cause more times than parents would like to deal with. Vol. 26, March 2005 – There is a Better Way to Deal with Pain Control than Medication

For anyone who is experiencing painful illnesses such as headaches, osteo-arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, muscle or joint injury, irritable bowel syndrome, neuropathy and pain from accidents, having the doctor write out a prescription and hoping for the best is the usual treatment. Unfortunately many patients end up building tolerances to these medications, making them less effective over a long period of time. Continue »
